ECEAP Health and Nutrition Data Specialist JobID: 1139 Position Type: ECEAP Preschool Program/ECEAP Health Data and Nutrition Specialist Date Posted: 6/25/2026 Location: Pasco Additional Information: Show/Hide Department: ECEAP Location: ESD 123 Main Office- Pasco, WA Reports To: Director of ECAEP Classification: FLSA Classified Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday-Friday (8 hrs. per day / 180 days per year/late August - mid June) Hourly Rate through Aug. 31: $24.94 (step 1/year 1) Hourly Rate (26/27 SY) Sep. 1: $25.59 (step 1/year 1) - $28.80 (step 5/year 5) SUMMARY: The ECEAP Health and Nutrition Data Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ECEAP health and nutrition services. This position will be required to travel to ECEAP sites when needed and perform duties as required to complete program health and nutrition requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform high-volume data entry and tracking in the Early Learning Management System (ELMS) database, ensuring 100% accuracy of all health and nutrition data points, and ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with state deadlines. Use ELMS (Early Learning Management System) data to provide targeted technical assistance to sites regarding health or nutrition documentation. Generate regular compliance reports to identify children approaching the ECEAP health deadlines and collaborate with site staff to ensure requirements are met before falling out of compliance. Monitor and track student health records, including but not limited to well-child visits, immunizations, health care plans, and health and dental screenings. Perform clerical duties as assigned to include filing, copying, data entry, documenting, and record keeping to ensure program readiness for state audits. Maintain documentation for WINS/CACFP child nutrition labels. Monthly CACFP menu data reviews and data entry. Review immunization records and assist with the identification of immunization status, and provide support to Family Support Specialists in helping parents obtain any needed immunizations. Monitor program-wide dental screening compliance to ensure children who have not had a dental exam within the last six months receive an exam or screening within 90 calendar days of attendance. Provide health summaries and information reports to administrators and coordinators to ensure a coordinated approach to child wellness. Occasional travel to designated ECEAP sites to assist with hearing and vision screenings as needed. Support site teams in ensuring these are completed within 45 calendar days of a child's first day of attendance. Completing the program's state annual immunization status report. Travel to designated ECEAP sites quarterly and as needed to monitor site-level food service and ensure classrooms meet meal service requirements, including, but not limited to, technical food service and menu assistance, and inspection of food preparation and storage areas for compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. Provide or coordinate professional development and training for site staff on health issues, including the prevention and control of infectious diseases (including immunizations), and CACFP annual training. Attend meetings and participate in professional development and opportunities for growth to stay current with ECEAP standards and health regulations. Maintain confidentiality regarding all child, family, and staff information in accordance with Board policies and ECEAP Performance Standards. Assist with the oversight of health supplies and children's medical line items to ensure that funds allocated are adequate to meet the Agency's needs. Follow all applicable Board policies and procedures at all times.
