Early Morning Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our talented culinary team and contribute to our commitment to excellence. **Job Summary:** The AM Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. The role requires open availability, as shifts starts at 3am , including, weekends, and holidays. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Food Preparation & Cooking:** Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, in accordance with the hotel’s recipes and standards. - **Menu Execution:** Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet the hotel's quality standards, including taste, texture, and temperature. - **Kitchen Operations:** Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen, including proper food storage, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness. - **Inventory Management:** Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies as needed. - **Compliance:** Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices. - **Teamwork:** Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth kitchen operations. - **Adaptability:** Be flexible with tasks and schedules to meet the needs of the kitchen and hotel operations. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen. Previous experience working in a hotel environment is preferred. - **Certification:** Food handler’s certification or equivalent is required. - **Skills:** Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods.
