The Dual Enrollment Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director of Dual Enrollment with the planning, implementation, coordination, and continuous improvement of dual enrollment opportunities throughout the College service area. The position assists in coordinating student recruitment, admissions, advising, registration, orientation, communication, retention, and transition activities while supporting the day-to-day operations of the dual enrollment program. The Dual Enrollment Specialist also assists with developing partnerships with local schools, monitoring enrollment trends, collecting and analyzing program data, and implementing initiatives that support institutional enrollment goals. **SALARY SCHEDULE PLACEMENT:** Range of $45,220 - $62,710, based upon the 2025-2026 Alabama Community College System and Shelton State Community College Salary Schedule E3-3 to be determined by the applicant’s education and years of applicable experience. Applicant acknowledges that if selected for the position that applicant’s placement on the applicable salary schedule will be dependent upon the verified information provided by the applicant in accordance with the applicable work experience verification requirements stated in the official job posting. **Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:** - Assist with admission and registration of dual enrollment students - Assist in recruitment efforts to increase awareness and participation in dual enrollment opportunities throughout the College service area - Provide follow-up support for dual enrollment students. Develop and maintain relationships with high school administrators, counselors, teachers, students, parents, and community partners - Conduct presentations, information sessions, classroom visits, college fairs, and recruitment events at area high schools and community organizations - Provide academic advising regarding course selection, degree pathways, transfer opportunities, and program requirements - Assist with the development and distribution of promotional materials, publications, and digital communications related to dual enrollment - Communicate appropriate scholarships or other funding sources for students to the Business Office for posting to students’ accounts - Coordinate the collection, distribution, and inventory of textbooks and instructional materials for dual enrollment students - Assist with parent sessions, counselor training presentations, and high school presentations - Assist in the creation of dual enrollment recruiting and orientation materials - Work with high school personnel to identify and recruit prospective dual enrollment students - Assist students with onboarding, activities, including account activation, orientation, and Canvas access - Collect and maintain dual enrollment documentation and data, including enrollment reports, participation summaries, and program effectiveness measures - Respond to inquiries from students, parents, school officials, faculty, and community stakeholders in a timely and professional manner - Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills and relationship building skills - Demonstrate strong organizational and administrative skills **Secondary Job Duties and Responsibilities:** - Participate actively on division and departmental committees, teams, and task forces - Support the development of articulation agreements, memorandums of understanding, and other partnership initiatives - Assist with special projects related to enrollment management, student success, and strategic initiatives - Represent the College at community, educational, and professional events **Other Job Duties and Responsibilities:** - Comply with policies of the Alabama Community College System and the College - Serve on College committees as required - Participate in professional development, compliance, performance excellence, and training activities as required - Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor **Required:** - Bache…
