As a **Dual Behavioral** **Health Clinician**, you would be a vital part of a multi-disciplinary team providing intensive residential treatment for individuals navigating severe substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. At our 74-bed inpatient Recovery Center, we will deliver integrated, trauma-informed care, addressing crisis stabilization, medication management, and long-term recovery planning. You will work hands-on with clients in individual and group therapy, coordinating whole-person care that leads to sustainable success. **What makes this opportunity unique?** - Low-barrier, high-impact care—meeting clients where they are - Collaborative, 24/7 team environment—68 full-time staff providing wraparound support - Evidence-based treatment that fosters engagement, retention, and successful transitions - Inclusive, culturally responsive approach—non-gender binary care and community-specific services - Clear pathways to stability—expedited access to primary care, mental health, outpatient SUD treatment, and housing **Make a difference in the lives of 200 clients annually by helping them build a foundation for long-term recovery.** This position is a critical member of a multi-disciplinary team that provides comprehensive, intensive residential treatment for those who struggle with severe substance use disorder, The team works to address all treatment needs, including crisis management, substance use treatment, medication management, physical health treatment, mental health treatment, and accessing appropriate and affordable housing. This is a direct service position providing person-centered, trauma-informed care to clients experiencing mental health and substance use symptoms. This position has access to mental health billing and service records. **Location:** 16^th^ & Burnside (1616 E Burnside St. Portland, OR 97214) **Schedule:** Tueday-Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm (Saturday & Sunday off) **Salary Ranges from:** $73,000- $124,000 *\*Final comp will be determined based on relevant experience, education, credentials/licensure, and internal equity. External candidates: Offer max is $108,000 per our Union contract.* ***AFSCME Union**This role is a Union Represented position through; American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). You can find more information about your representation here www.afscme.org***Must meet qualifications for:** - QMHP-C - LPC-A or LPC - LMFT-A or LMFT - CSWA or LCSW **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** - **CADC-1 or greater required** - Experience in mental health and substance use treatment preferred. - Has the competencies necessary to: - Identify precipitating events - Gather histories of mental, emotional and physical disabilities, alcohol and drug use, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts - Assess family, social and work relationships - Conduct a mental status assessment - Document a multiaxial DSM diagnosis - Write and implement or supervise implementation of a treatment plan - Conduct and document a mental health assessment - Provide mental health treatment and rehabilitative services within one's scope of practice. - Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA. - Have, or able to obtain, Adult CPR prior to start date. - Must have current Adult First Aid Certification prior to start date. - **Must become a certified Director’s Custody designee in Multnomah County within the first 6 months of hire.** - Ability to adhere to Central City Concern’s drug-free workplace which encourages a safe, healthy and productive work environment and strictly complies with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
