We help businesses and municipalities reduce and divert waste, lowering disposal costs and fueling local supply chains by ensuring materials are recovered, recycled, and reused. **About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. **Shift: M-F, Occasional Saturday's 3am-2pm, 5am-3pm (Job Type: Full-Time) | Location: Austin, TX** **Benefits:** - **Health, Dental, Vision insurance** - **FSA** - **Vacation Time** - **401k matching** - **Employee Assistance Program** - **Paid Parental Leave** - **Tuition Reimbursement** **Responsibilities:** *Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.* - Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws - Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations - Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage - Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations **Minimum Job Qualifications:** - A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License - Must be 21 years of age - At least three (2) years of experience, proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's license - Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review - Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records - Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers **Other Duties:** All job requirements in this job description provided indicate the minimum level of knowledge, skills, and/abilities deemed necessary to perform the job competently.
