Drafter/Designer

## Description SteelCell is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter/Designer to join our dynamic team. The Drafter/Designer will play a critical role in the design and development process. The Drafter/Designer will create precise technical drawings and plans, utilizing industry-standard software like Inventor and AutoCAD. This position will work closely with production, engineering, scheduling, and purchasing. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company that promotes internal growth. **Key Responsibilities** - Create and revise detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD Software - Managing engineering drawings and data in Inventor Vault environment - Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control - Collaborate with engineers and team members to clarify design requirements and resolve design issues - Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and drafting standards - Must be able to multi-task and handle several projects in a fast-paced environment, attention to details is critical - Revise existing drawings based on feedback from the design team - Assist with design modifications throughout the project lifecycle **Qualifications** - Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or related field - 5 years experience in CAD software such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar - Strong understanding of drafting standards, technical documentation, and revision control - Familiarity with GD&T principles and manufacturing tolerances - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail - High Competency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams - The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
