**What we do** Build is an AI company for the built world. We pair agentic AI with domain experts to accelerate the most important pre-development work behind the world's largest built projects - site selection, due diligence, feasibility, planning, and design. Our clients include some of the largest data centre developers, institutional real estate firms, and hyperscalers in the world. **What this role is** We are looking for people who are deeply expert in a specific part of the Built World. This is not a generic consulting role. It is a role for people who have spent years inside the industry and are frustrated by how slowly and expensively things get done. People who can look at their own work and say: this is what takes the most time, this is why it takes that long, and this is what it would look like if it moved ten times faster. You will work alongside Build's AI systems to deliver outcomes for clients - and in doing so, you will help us build the systems that eventually run themselves. **What we are looking for** The first thing we ask every candidate to do is submit a proposal for a workflow. Specifically: describe one workflow from your current or previous role that you believe could be automated or dramatically accelerated with the right AI system. Include what the workflow is, why it takes as long as it does, what a good outcome looks like, and how you would know if the automation was working. If your proposal is compelling, we will reach out. **Who this might be** • A data centre developer who has spent years navigating grid connection queues • A planning consultant who knows where every application gets stuck • A real estate analyst who screens acquisitions across multiple markets • An infrastructure advisor who has run the same due diligence process dozens of times • A design professional who can translate a brief into buildable massing in their sleep We work across digital infrastructure, industrial, energy, and institutional real estate.
