If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.** **Job Summary** **This position is for the Discharge Lounge, meaning it is a non-bedside position. Multiple FTE positions. Days will be 7a-7p or 9a-9p. Nights will be 9p-9a. We have 1 PRN position that will require flexibility on days and nights.** The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse and/or the Physician, is responsible for providing age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintaining a safe environment, educating patients and their families, collecting information, communicating effectively, and utilizing technology. The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of health care services and tasks. The role of the LPN also includes patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and supervision of unlicensed personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years of experience as an LPN - Current Georgia License as a Practical Nurse - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider Card - Experience with Long-term care/Rehab/Acute Care/Urgent Care preferred **Core Competencies** These competencies reflect the values and behaviors expected of all Grady team members, regardless of role.
