The Director, Operations – Real Estate (West) is responsible for defining and driving the operational strategy for CLEAR's airport infrastructure portfolio. This leader will oversee portfolio governance, capital planning, and cross-functional execution across airport development initiatives, ensuring investments are prioritized, resources are aligned, and projects are delivered to support CLEAR's long-term growth strategy. What you'll do: Own the strategy, governance, and execution of CLEAR's airport infrastructure and real estate portfolio across assigned regions, ensuring investments align with business priorities, operational needs, and long-term growth objectives Lead portfolio planning and capital allocation by overseeing the Leasehold Improvement Request (LIR) process, establishing investment priorities, and driving executive alignment on funding, sequencing, and resource allocation Establish portfolio management standards, governance frameworks, reporting, and performance metrics that provide executive visibility into project health, financial performance, risks, and delivery timelines Partner with Real Estate & Development, Facilities Operations, Finance, Aviation Operations, and Executive Leadership to remove obstacles, resolve competing priorities, and ensure successful execution across a complex portfolio of initiatives Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardize project delivery, and optimize capital investments while building scalable operating models that support CLEAR's continued airport expansion How you'll measure success: Delivery of airport infrastructure initiatives against strategic priorities, budget, and schedule Accuracy, visibility, and executive confidence in portfolio reporting and forecasting Effectiveness of capital planning, LIR governance, and investment prioritization Cross-functional alignment and execution across Real Estate, Operations, Finance, and Development teams What you're great at: Leading large, complex infrastructure, capital, or real estate portfolios across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Developing portfolio governance, operating models, and executive reporting that drive strategic decision-making Influencing senior leaders and driving alignment across cross-functional organizations without direct authority Balancing strategic thinking with operational execution while navigating ambiguity and changing business priorities Using data and financial insights to prioritize investments, mitigate risk, and improve portfolio performance How You'll be Rewarded: At CLEAR, we help YOU move forward - because when you’re at your best, we’re at our best.
