**Serving with Compassion, Creativity, and Consistency.** **$58,000-60,000** **Position Summary:** The Director of TASP (Therapeutic After School Program) manages the TASP team in providing a family-centered therapeutic after school program to youth and families in need of preventative services. The Director provides leadership to the TASP clinical and child care staff, providing the best possible services to at risk children and families in the areas of therapeutic interventions, educational support, recreation, and creativity (arts & crafts). **Responsibilities:** - Initiate, develop and implement valid, innovative best practices consistent with progressive trends, directions, and research. Continuously monitor, evaluate and enhance all programming. - Prepare a well-considered annual budget for TASP and ensure operation within the budget. - Ensure continuity of managerial and specialized personnel fully competent in achieving objectives through effective selection, development, training, evaluation and motivation of supervisees. - Foster strong ties with mental health providers, purchasers of services, and Grand Blvd. United Methodist Church administrators to provide effective communication and support within the community and church. - Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with clients, families, staff and community contacts with a diversity of backgrounds and life situations. - Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner meeting all standards of content and professional presentation. - Supervise and support direct reports and contribute to the professional development of team members ### Requirements **Education:** - Bachelor's degree in a related field ***required*** **Experience:** - 5 years of related experience, with at least 2 years of experience working with at-risk children and families *strongly preferred* - 1 year of supervisor experience *preferred* - - ***​***Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment ***required**​* ### Benefits **Benefits available to all staff:** - Student Loan and Tuition Reimbursement - Employee Assistance Program - Employee Discounts at the Southern Tier Community Center - Opportunities for Professional Development **Full Time Benefits:** - Agency-Paid CEUs, License Prep Course, and License Exam - 403(b) with 6% employer contribution - PTO plus 9 paid holidays - Childcare Reimbursement - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (with HSA/FSA Accounts) - Life Insurance **EEO Statement:** Children's Home is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
