Director of Operations / TFCC

The Director of Operations / TFCC (Track & Field and Cross Country) will manage the budget and daily operations of the Track & Field and Cross Country programs. This person will coordinate individual and team travel arrangements, student athlete admissions, communication with Athletics Compliance and Student Athlete Academic Support Services. Responsibilities include and not limited to managing travel (for both the team and staff); daily schedule of coaches and team; coordinate recruiting visits; plan special events; serve as game day operations liaison; handle numerous administrative responsibilities for the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field. This position reports directly to the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field. **Required Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or a related field with significant experience or a master's degree. Excellent communication and organization skills. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Experience coordinating team and recruiting travel for a Division I athletic program. Experience working with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and/or student athletes. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience working in a Division I "Power 4" athletic department. Experience as a collegiate coach and/or student athlete. Working knowledge of recruiting software (Teamworks). **Pay Band** {lPayScaleID} **Overtime Status** Exempt: Not eligible for overtime **Appointment Type** Restricted **Salary Information** Up to $75,500. Commensurate with experience. **Hours per week** 40+.
