Plan and manage the following functions of the hotel (Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, comp F&B) to achieve customer (guest, employee, corporate and owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Position is responsible for short- and long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the above areas in the hotel. Develops and recommends the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Manage staff and daily operations in the absence of General Manager. - Understands and follows policies and procedures for the hotel’s key control system and ensures others are trained in same. - Ensures hotel staff, including all new-hires, know and understand the importance of guest satisfaction, and are trained to meet service standards; develops added-value customer service programs. - Empowers hotel staff to deliver guest service by encouraging and rewarding responsive guest assistance. - Implements and practices guest service initiatives. - Assist General Manager with onboarding and training new team members. - Other duties as assigned or required based on hotel needs. - May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays to ensure hotel operations run smoothly. **QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
