Our Mission: to advance and redefine healthcare. **Full-time Benefits:** - **7 Holidays** - **Generous PTO** - **Medical, Dental and Vision** - **Company Paid Life & AD&D Insurance** - **Voluntary Life & AD&D Insurance** - **Voluntary STD & LTD Insurance** - **401(k) immediate enrollment with match** - **Tuition Reimbursement** - **Referral Bonus Program** **Responsibilities:** - Establish a routine preventive maintenance program for all physical plant and equipment. - Ensure compliance with all Life Safety guidelines - Perform repairs and maintenance to major building systems - Perform repairs and maintenance to cosmetic building facets - Maintain the grounds (we perform this in-house) - Schedule and oversee outside contractors - Hands on knowledge and experience with maintenance tools and equipment - Oversee the housekeeping and laundry departments - Must have the ability to handle a physical workload **Qualifications:** - Experience in long term care and/or sub-acute setting preferred - Basic computer skills - Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting - Written and oral communication skills - Ability to interact positively with residents, other personnel and the public - Good communication, interpersonal skills organizational skills - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks - Ability to work effectively with a team - Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort - People management and staff development - Bi-lingual, English & Spanish preferred *Vierra Communities and its properties provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
