Director of Human Resources Ridgeland, Mississippi Mid South Rehab Services Inc., Ridgeland, Mississippi, is hiring a Director of Human Resources to join our Employee Support Center TEAM. **Basic Function** The position is responsible for administering human resource policies, programs and practices and employee benefit programs: including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and directing. Duties include formulating policies and procedures for the Human Resources Department and recommending policies and practices to Senior Management. **Nature and Scope** The position reports to the President and CEO. General knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource administration; knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of human resource management; knowledge of the organizations and operations of administrative programs; ability to develop long-term plans and programs and to evaluate work accomplishments; ability to apply and adapt practices and techniques to the special requirements of senior management; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public; ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form. - Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field; and two (2) years Human Resources Management experience, or - Baccalaureate Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; and five (5) years experience in Human Resource field - PHR or SPHR preferred - Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access - Must possess excellent organizational, time management, and leadership abilities - ​​​​​​​Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
