This position leads the engineering team in maintaining the building’s functionality, appearance, and safety standards while supporting sustainability initiatives and budgetary goals. This leadership role demands a blend of technical expertise, fiscal responsibility, and team leadership to maintain the highest standards of luxury, safety, and operational efficiency. Direct engineering operations, ensuring the peak performance, regulatory compliance, and longevity of all critical property systems, including MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), HVAC, and advanced life-safety systems. Orchestrate the comprehensive maintenance and preservation of the hotel’s structural integrity, specialized equipment, and grounds, consistently meeting high aesthetic and functional standards on time and within budget. Architect and execute a rigorous preventive maintenance program designed to optimize building performance, mitigate operational risks, and eliminate unscheduled downtime. Drive environmental sustainability initiatives by rigorously analyzing utility consumption and implementing sophisticated energy, water, and waste-reduction strategies. Optimize capital expenditure and operational budgets through strategic vendor management, meticulous service contract negotiations, and seamless oversight of major capital improvement projects.
