Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll lead the team and operational systems responsible for producing content for our corporate-run magazines. Today, the portfolio includes approximately 125 magazines, with plans to grow to 200, allowing you to build and scale an operation with meaningful impact. You’ll focus on creating the structure, processes, and team development needed to support growth, consistently meet deadlines, manage expenses, and increase readership engagement. You’ll bring people together around a clear vision, identify opportunities for improvement, and turn ideas into scalable solutions. You’ll work closely with our Creative, Editorial, and Design teams to keep our magazines on brand and aligned with best practices, while partnering with Business Operations, Client Success, and Franchise leadership to build a connected, efficient operation. This is a fully remote position. Interviews will be conducted via phone and video calls for your convenience. The salary range is $95,000 to $115,000 annually, with opportunities for growth and advancement. The Role in Action Direct day-to-day content operations across roughly 125 corporate-run magazines while building scalable workflows and operating rhythms to support growth toward 200 publications. Oversee end-to-end production timelines, maintain strict quality benchmarks, and manage the seamless onboarding of new titles transitioning from the franchise ecosystem. Partner closely with the Creative, Editorial, and Design teams to eliminate bottlenecks, safeguard brand standards, and elevate readership engagement across every community served. Lead, coach, and develop the Content team, cultivating a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and high-quality performance. Evaluate staffing capacity and allocate resources strategically to ensure people and processes can absorb portfolio growth sustainably. Drive strategies focused on increasing readership engagement and strengthening the value our magazines provide to their communities. Own the content operating budget and monitor data-driven KPIs around deadline compliance, expenses, productivity, quality, and audience engagement.
