Director IT

As a Director of IT at Honeywell, you will provide strategic guidance and oversight to the IT department, driving technology initiatives, managing IT resources, and ensuring the effective delivery of IT services to facilitate the organization's objectives. As a Director IT at Honeywell, you will lead critical technology initiatives that drive business outcomes for Honeywell Building Automation (BA), with a primary focus on advancing quote-to-cash digitization for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS). You will play a key role in aligning business strategy with IT execution, delivering scalable enterprise platforms, and enabling end-to-end digital transformation across core commercial processes. This role is based in Atlanta, GA with a hybrid work schedule and reports directly to the VP/CIO, HBS and Building Automation Americas. ### Responsibilities **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Lead the IT strategy and execution for quote-to-cash transformation initiatives across BA, with significant focus on HBS - Drive deployment and optimization of enterprise platforms including SAP CPQ, Salesforce (CRM and Field Service Lightning), SAP ERP, and ERP/e-commerce integrations - Partner with Finance, Operations, and corporate IT teams to define priorities and deliver solutions - Implement AI business transformation initiatives that delivers impactful business outcome - Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions while leading change management and adoption efforts - Oversee ongoing transformation programs including CPQ deployments, CRM enhancements, and service platform modernization - Lead a global team of approximately 20+ IT professionals - Drive cross-functional alignment and stakeholder consensus - Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and delivery governance ### Qualifications **YOU MUST HAVE** - 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT with leadership responsibility - Experience leading large-scale transformation programs - Expertise across SAP CPQ, Salesforce, SAP ERP, and integrations - Expertise in AI LLM models, implemented in quote to cash life cycle - Experience driving quote-to-cash or similar business process digitization - Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management - Experience leading global teams - Knowledge of IT operations and service management practices **WE VALUE** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field - Experience in building automation, industrial, automotive, or logistics industries - Experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms in addition - Strong executive communication and influence skills - Ability to balance strategy and execution - Experience leading distributed global teams **ABOUT HONEYWELL BUILDING AUTOMATION** Honeywell Building Automation (BA) delivers products, software, and solutions that help buildings become safer, more energy efficient, and more productive through advanced technologies and services. **WHY HONEYWELL** Honeywell offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work on impactful, global digital transformation initiatives. ### About the Company Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
