Livingston, NJ | Full-Time | On-site leadership role Salary: $95,000–$100,000/year BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Director for our Essex County Assistive Care (ECA) office in Livingston, NJ. This office is part of BAYADA's Assistive Care practice, which provides personal care and companionship services in the home and is known for relationship-driven, personalized support for clients and families. This is a rebuilding office with real upside — you'll have the opportunity to build a team and referral base from the ground up, growing the office from its current census toward 80–100 clients. If you're energized by starting fresh and shaping an office's culture and growth trajectory, this is a strong fit. At BAYADA, every role is connected to our mission of helping people have a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity. If you are a hands-on leader who is passionate about service excellence, developing others, growing an office, and making a meaningful impact in the community, this could be the next step in your career. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and mentor the office team while providing day-to-day operational leadership, structure, and accountability. Own office performance across service, quality, people, growth, and finance, using BAYADA metrics and performance tools to guide priorities and decisions. Use operational dashboards and reports to monitor staffing, service delivery, caregiver credentialing, referral activity, and financial trends. Drive new business development with local rehabs, assisted living and independent living communities, and hospitals — building BAYADA's presence and reputation in a competitive market. Build and lead a cohesive team, fostering strong collaboration between CSMs and nursing staff. Build strong relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff to ensure a high-quality experience and dependable service, including with the area's affluent private-pay client base as well as Medicaid clients. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of office staff and caregivers. Partner with division leadership on annual business planning, goal setting, and execution aligned to office and practice priorities. Lead regular 1:1s and team meetings to review goals, recognize wins, address hot topics, and keep the office aligned on priorities. Help ensure the office operates with strong attention to detail, compliance, quality, and continuity of care. What Success Looks Like You create a high-accountability, high-support environment where employees know what great performance looks like. You balance compassion with operational discipline and strong follow-through. You build trust quickly with families, caregivers, and office staff — and lead with a servant-leadership mindset, prioritizing team development and effective conflict resolution. You identify growth opportunities, act on them, and keep service quality high as the office scales. Qualifications Leadership experience in home care, healthcare operations, service delivery, or another fast-paced, service-driven industry (e.g., retail, hospitality, food service) is welcome — strong operational and team leadership experience matters most. Strong experience supervising, developing, and supporting teams. A concierge-level approach to client and family service, with the confidence to build relationships across a wide range of clients — from private-pay families to Medicaid recipients. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems quickly, and stay organized in a dynamic office setting. Comfortable using data, dashboards, and reports to manage performance and drive action. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, families, caregivers, and internal partners. Bilingual a plus, though not required. A mission-driven mindset and a genuine commitment to helping people live safely at home with dignity. Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, on-site office leadership role. F…
