Under the guidance of the Chief Pharmacy Officer, this position is responsible for the Enterprise level coordination of drug policy and pharmacy and therapeutics functions across all hospital and clinic entities. This position will work in cooperation with the site Directors of Pharmacy, Enterprise P&T, Local P&Ts, Informatics, Drug Policy staff and Pharmacy Purchasing staff to ensure appropriate alignment of medication use policy and formulary decisions across all WVU Medicine sites. This position will coordinate with pharmacy leaders and practitioners to develop appropriate education to ensure cost-effective utilization of medications across the Enterprise. Ongoing monitoring of medication utilization with benchmarking, both internal and external, will be provided by the Enterprise Director and Medication Use team. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:** 1. Must possess a current license as required by the state board where services will be provided or be license eligible. Licensure must be completed within 100 days of hire. **WV:** Pharmacist license through the West Virginia State Board of Pharmacy **PA:** Pharmacist license through the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy **MD:** Pharmacist license through the Maryland Board of Pharmacy **OH:** Pharmacist license through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy **NOTE:** \* While waiting on licensure, employee may not practice pharmacy under West Virginia law and may not be allowed within the licensed pharmacy area without direct and guided supervision of a licensed pharmacist \* Employee may not function as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or perform any function of a practicing pharmacist. \* Incumbents will refrain from engaging in any responsibilities that necessitate a pharmacist's license until they have obtained full licensure. **EXPERIENCE**: 1. Seven (7) years of experience in health system pharmacy, clinical programs, and leading pharmacy and therapeutics programs. At least Four (4) years of experience must be in pharmacy management. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:** 1. Board Certification in a pharmacy specialty. 2. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited school of pharmacy. 3. Master of Business Administration, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration, or Master in Public Health. 4. Completion of residency through the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). **EXPERIENCE:** 1. Experience in Integrated Delivery Network. 2. Experience with Clinical program development and data analytics. Leads and coordinates with eP&T subcommittees (formulary, oncology, peri-operative, infectious disease, etc.) and the subcommittee chairs efforts with drug policy, drug evaluation, and drug utilization. 3. Leads formulary alignment structure, including maintenance and other activities to assure a single formulary is maintained and communicated. 4. Conducts on-going monitoring of medication utilization to ensure cost-effective medication use when compared to both internal and external benchmarks. 5.
