Our partner is looking for a Director, Clinical Operations Latin America based in Brazil or Argentina.** The Director, Clinical Operations Latin America will provide strategic leadership and operational direction for the execution of complex oncology clinical trials across the region. This role is responsible for ensuring successful study delivery by driving country strategy, site activation, enrollment performance, and operational excellence. The position requires strong regional expertise, deep clinical research knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships with investigators, institutions, and regulatory stakeholders. You will serve as a key connection point between global clinical teams and Latin American partners, influencing decisions that improve trial efficiency and patient access. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative clinical programs while helping advance therapies that address significant unmet medical needs. ### Accountabilities: The Director, Clinical Operations Latin America will oversee regional clinical operations strategy and execution, ensuring studies are delivered with high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency. The role combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight across multiple countries. - Lead clinical trial execution strategies across Latin America, ensuring alignment with global study objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. - Serve as the senior operational contact for the region, addressing escalations and providing solutions to challenges affecting study delivery. - Develop regional strategies for country selection, site identification, patient recruitment, and operational optimization. - Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, ethics committees, healthcare institutions, oncology centers, investigators, and research networks. - Represent the organization at regional scientific meetings, investigator meetings, and industry forums. - Provide expert guidance on feasibility assessments, regulatory pathways, site capabilities, and patient population considerations. - Leverage oncology investigator and site networks to support successful study startup and long-term site engagement. - Partner with global clinical teams to identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and improve operational performance. - Ensure all regional activities comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), local regulations, internal policies, and health authority requirements. - Support audit readiness and inspection activities by providing regional expertise and operational insight. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is a senior clinical operations professional with extensive experience managing global trials, particularly within oncology and Latin American markets. This role requires strong strategic thinking, relationship-building abilities, and experience navigating complex clinical research environments. - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as MS, PharmD, PhD, or MBA preferred. - 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or clinical research environments. - Significant experience managing oncology clinical trials and global clinical development programs. - Proven experience leading clinical operations activities across Latin America. - Established relationships with oncology investigators, research institutions, cancer centers, and healthcare stakeholders throughout the region. - Strong knowledge of Latin American regulatory frameworks, ethics review processes, and clinical trial environments. - Demonstrated expertise in feasibility planning, site selection, study startup, and operational del…
