Direct Support Professional (3p-11p FT shift includes a $1,000 Sign On Bonus!)

Sawtelle Hall is a residential treatment facility serving vulnerable youth who may have but are not limited to a diagnosis within the autism spectrum. Residential Assistants will be expected to provide positive support, caring assistance and responsible supervision. This position is expected to require a unique sensitivity on the part of the applicants to recognize and appropriately respond to clients who may have evidenced difficulties. **Duties include but not limited to:** - Participating as a member of a therapeutic treatment team - Becoming familiar with the residents' treatment goals - Carrying out expected interventions - Observation and documentation of success - Identifying current or suggesting new, therapeutic goals which may require attention by the treatment team. **Requirements** - Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health etc.), Psychology preferred with experience working with youth. - High school diploma/GED requires 3 years or more experience working with youth in a group or behavioral setting. - High school diploma or equivalent required - Valid driver's license required Weekdays or Weekends Full time/Part time or On-Call shifts available. **YCS provides a competitive compensation package.
