Direct Care Worker/Caregiver

As a **Home Health Aide (HHA) / Direct Care Worker**, you'll provide **compassionate personal care and support** to individuals who rely on you daily. We're seeking **dedicated, friendly caregivers** ready to deliver top-quality, in-home assistance in accordance with each client's personalized care plan. **What You'll Do:** **Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:** - Assisting with **personal care**: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene, nail care, shaving - **Mobility support**: ambulation, transferring, positioning clients in bed, using assistive devices - Supporting **physical therapy plans**, passive and active exercises under supervision - Monitoring and communicating **changes in physical or emotional health** - Performing **light housekeeping**: laundry, tidying bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms - Preparing meals (including special diets), shopping for groceries, and household supplies - Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment - Using **PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)** when appropriate - **Documenting care** and submitting timely reports via telephony system **Who We're Looking For: Required Qualifications:** - At least **18 years of age** - Completion of a **formal certification program** or ability to pass a **skills/competency test** - Ability to **read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care** - Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication - Neat appearance and good personal hygiene - Dependability, reliability, and sound judgment - Friendly, patient, and respectful with a sincere interest in caring for others - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks - Maintain confidentiality and comply with **HIPAA regulations** **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Valid driver's license**, insured vehicle in good repair, and clean driving record - Ability to travel independently to clients' homes (unless exempt) - Must be able to work **at least two weekends per month** as scheduled **What We Offer:** - **Bi-Weekly pay** - Flexible scheduling - work around your life - **Paid training** and support - Work one-on-one in the comfort of clients' homes - A chance to build meaningful relationships and make a difference every day **Physical & Work Environment Requirements:** - Ability to walk, sit, stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs - Capable of handling high-stress situations and clear communication - Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities **Job Types:** Full-time, Part-time **Pay:** $13.50 - $14.50 per hour **Benefits:** - 403(b) - Flexible schedule - Paid orientation - Paid time off - Paid training **Work Location:** In person
