Ensure adequate staffing through scheduling and providing coverage as needed. - Serve as the liaison between front of house and back of house to ensure accurate and timely completion of resident and guest orders. - Maintain a clean dining room set up to company standards for all meals and functions. - Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring each person feels valued and well-served. - Keep track of dining room small ware, table ware, and linen. Conduct regular inventory checks. - Collect and address resident suggestions and comments to continually improve dining services. - Regularly evaluate dining services through quality assurance audits and maintain accurate meal count reports. - Ensure residents’ safety by removing walkers from the dining room and returning them promptly after meals. - Fully understand the menu and be able to explain selections to residents and guests. - Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team. - Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies. #### **Minimum Requirements** - Must obtain accredited food handler certification within 60 days as per State guidelines. - Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email. - High School Diploma or GED preferred. - One to two years of related experience, including supervisory responsibilities. - Great customer service attitude and the ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests. - Ability to give and follow written and oral instructions. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
