Digital Web Press Operator

## Description **GENERAL DESCRIPTION:** Wilen is driven by industry-leading agency services and cutting-edge direct mail production. We provide strategic direct marketing solutions for national brands, leveraging innovative variable data technology, to turn concepts into finished digital and physical products, all in one seamless process. We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Web Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess HP T–Series experience and or Kodak Prosper experience, however, all Digital Web Press experience will be considered. **RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):** All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management. - Operate digital press in accordance with manufacturers operating and safety specifications - Operate digital web press while converting, to produce complete customized jobs inline, or roll to roll for offline finishing in other manufacturing departments - Assimilate workflows, procedures, and direct mail guidelines as required by USPS - Ensure work completion meets or exceeds schedule deadline - Perform all Press functions as noted on the job ticket necessary to produce each job - Responsible for safety requirements of all assigned equipment, and crewing - Operate all relevant finishing equipment as needed to complete each job, per job ticket specifications - Assist with job packaging as needed, coordinate with all relevant manufacturing departments to ensure proper packing of all formats going to other departments - Problem solving and troubleshooting - Strong mechanical aptitude to perform maintenance functions on assigned equipment - Other duties as assigned by Management, not listed in this description **EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES** - Maintain equipment and Organize work area with focused attention to ALL safety procedures - Work with team and perform all troubleshooting procedures on the digital presses - Monitor inventory of consumables needed for assigned Press - Inform Supervisor of equipment problems timely and document all downtime and solutions **QUALIFICATIONS:** - Experience with digital printing processes, and best practices, including DFE and RIP process - 5 years of experience running a web press - Experience with digital images, low res, high res, and proper file reproduction - HP T250 and or Prosper web press experience a plus - Inline finishing/ Plow stations and Rotary cutter experience a plus - Direct Mail experience a plus - Solid understanding of Printing manufacturing/finishing processes: Bindery/Mail **This job description is subject to change from time to time at the Company’s discretion.** ***As a direct marketing company, there are times when client deadlines dictate additional work hours.
