**About us** We are seeking a motivated Dietary Manager with excellent leadership and communication skills. You will help and care for patients, supervise dietary staff, offer guidance and support, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and ensure that all dietary operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time. **Responsibilities:** - Plan, prepare, serve meals and snacks to all residents of the facility - Lead the dietary team to ensure compliance with regulatory and cleanliness requirements - Coordinate with the IDT to ensure nutritional needs of all residents are met and dietary orders are followed - Interact in friendly and welcoming manner with all residents and guests - Instruct and train dietary team on proper methodologies, practices, and requirements of the kitchen - Recruit, retain, and maintain staff according to the needs of the facility – including preparing labor schedules - Purchase food, supplies, and equipment to meet the needs of the facility while adhering to appropriate budgets - Attend leadership meetings, care plan meetings, and other meetings as required - Make rounds in the facility to meet residents and cater to their preferences - Carry out applicable policies and procedures - Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator/designee **Qualifications:** - Must have CDM certification - Must be knowledgeable of current regulatory standards. - Must have the ability to train, supervise and direct dietary personnel in their proper duties and in accepted dietary procedures and techniques.
