Dietary Aide / Cook

A Cook/Dietary Aide's primary responsibility is to be responsible, reliable, attentive, and positive towards our residents as an aide, as well as cook, prepare, and serve meals for our residents. **Responsibilities and Purpose** - Set up the dining room and serve residents - Assist the cook team in the preparation and service of meals and beverages using specific procedures - Maintain strict sanitation and quality standards - Store food safely and hygienically while working to prevent food spoilage - Accurately record meals served and monitor food temperatures - Clean assigned dining and food preparation areas using mandated procedures and following set schedules - Wash dishes and utensils according to the required standards of practice - Other responsibilities as assigned **Desired Experience and Education** - Must have or obtain Food Handler's Card (We can help with this!) - Training is provided. - Experience in a long-term care environment *preferred*. **Benefits** We offer competitive pay relative to experience.
