Diesel Technician

Our client is looking for a Diesel Mechanic, the primary purpose of this position is to provide basic mechanical, repair, maintenance, and other related services to the customers. This person must have a clear understanding of routine and complex truck and trailer repair processes, routine maintenance tasks, shop techniques and practices, parts, materials and the operation, use, and basic repair of basic shop equipment. Performs assigned duties and tasks to meet Company standards and customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Shop Supervisor but may receive work instructions for specific assignments from a lead mechanic or technician. This position impacts the profitability of the Company by working efficiently, not wasting time on the job, not wasting parts and materials, not breaking tools needlessly, and not creating rework.
