This role performs a wide range of mechanical and electrical repairs on diesel-powered motorcoaches and commercial vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain motorcoaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles, and other equipment as directed. - Follow Cummins warranty processes and procedures, including proper documentation and claim requirements. - Interpret and apply technical manuals, service bulletins, and repair guidelines. - Maintain a safe and clean work environment free from hazards and unnecessary distractions. - Understand and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. - Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and DOT requirements. - Accurately document repairs on work orders using shop computers and associated software. - Maintain accurate time and attendance records. - Perform road calls when required, including travel to customer locations to diagnose and perform repairs. - Maintain a valid DOT Medical Card as required. - Continue developing technical knowledge and repair skills to support shop operations. - Demonstrate professionalism while upholding ABC’s core values. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Qualifications:** - 2–4 years of diesel, motorcoach, transit bus, or heavy commercial vehicle repair experience preferred. - Diesel engine repair experience required - Motorcoach or transit bus experience preferred - CNG experience preferred, including knowledge of CNG fuel systems and troubleshooting CNG engines - Ability to perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical repair needs - Ability to interpret technical manuals and service documentation - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple repair tasks and priorities - Must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities - Experie…
