DETERMINANT SG - Assistant Store Manager

This role is a full business owner for 1–2 stores. This role is a more strategic and business-oriented leader who sets business goals and is responsible for the team’s overall success and budget. - Set and drive strategies to achieve store targets; monitor KPI performance (e.g., VPT, UPT, conversion rate, number of returning customers, individual sales achievement rate). - Represent DET as a brand image ambassador; implement company directives and ensure the store consistently reflects the brand’s image and standards. - Establish a benchmark for customer service excellence; engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience. - Oversee overall store presentation—from window displays to the layout of the shirt wall and tables—to maximise visual impact and sales. - Be accountable for the store’s P&L: manage the budget, control expenses, and forecast future sales and inventory needs. - Oversee inventory levels and analyse sell-through rates for key items. - Assist in resolving customer enquiries and handle complaints, ensuring issues are resolved effectively. - Conduct performance reviews; provide coaching and manage the career development of all team members (Full Time and Part Time). - Ensure the team is trained in product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational procedures. - Ensure the team complies with all company policies and procedures. - Prepare and submit reports to Head Office in a timely manner. - Ensure store security and loss prevention standards are executed consistently (cash handling controls, incident reporting, shrink awareness), and support investigations/follow-ups with the Store Manager/Operations Manager. - Support the Store with customer feedback and product/size/fit insights to improve store-level actions and seasonal planning inputs. - Candidates with more experience will be considered as Store Manager. - Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years of managerial experience - Experienced in fashion industry will be an advantage - Strong business acumen, logical mind-set with good interpersonal and communication skill - Good management skill, possess professional customer service and sales skills - Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin - 17 Days Public Holidays - 12 - 18 Days Annual Leave - 8 days regular off per month - Guaranteed Commission within Probation Period - Commissions Scheme - Attendance Bonus - Birthday Leave - Marriage Beave - Medical Insurance - Employee Discounts - In-house Training
