You will be responsible for managing and expanding a Design System, creating standards that empower designers, developers, and product teams. The position requires a strong combination of design expertise, collaboration skills, and a strategic mindset focused on improving workflows. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define components, documentation, accessibility practices, and design operations processes. The role combines creativity, systems thinking, and operational excellence to create better experiences for users and teams. ### Accountabilities: The Design Ops Pleno (Design System) will be responsible for managing the evolution, governance, and adoption of the Design System, ensuring consistency across digital products and enabling teams to work more efficiently. The role involves collaboration with design, engineering, and product teams to establish scalable solutions and best practices. - Define and manage Design Tokens, including standards for colors, spacing, borders, and other visual foundations while ensuring flexibility across different contexts. - Create, maintain, and evolve core component libraries in Figma, supporting governance and consistency across product teams. - Establish and apply digital accessibility guidelines based on WCAG principles, ensuring inclusive experiences for all users. - Perform technical validation and usability testing of components and design solutions to ensure quality and effectiveness. - Prepare and facilitate handoff processes, providing development teams with clear guidelines and necessary documentation. - Create and maintain accessible documentation explaining Design System components, principles, usage guidelines, and benefits for different audiences. - Plan and execute communication strategies for new Design System releases, updates, and improvements. - Develop workshops, training sessions, and educational materials to support adoption and enable teams to use the Design System effectively. - Collect feedback from designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities. - Analyze adoption metrics and user feedback to propose experiments, improvements, and strategic evolution initiatives. - Identify opportunities to optimize design workflows through automation and innovative approaches. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is a Design Operations professional with experience in Design Systems, component libraries, and collaborative product environments. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to connect design, technology, and product perspectives. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to document decisions, educate teams, and collaborate with different stakeholders. - Experience working collaboratively with design, development, engineering, and product teams. - Advanced proficiency in Figma, including experience creating, maintaining, and updating components, libraries, Design Tokens, and variables. - Knowledge of Design Token structures, including semantic naming, theming, and scalable design system foundations. - Experience applying digital accessibility principles and WCAG guidelines. - Ability to create clear and effective documentation for components, behaviors, and design guidelines. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage initiatives, priorities, and continuous improvements. - Basic front-end knowledge is desirable to support feasible solutions and improve collaboration wi…
