Our partner is looking for a Desarrollador Shopify based in Brazil.** This remote role offers the opportunity to build and optimize high-performing Shopify stores for growing brands in the ecommerce space. You will develop customized online shopping experiences, combining technical expertise with conversion-focused improvements. The position involves close collaboration with design and marketing teams to deliver impactful digital solutions. You will work on advanced Shopify implementations, integrations, and performance enhancements that directly influence customer growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive developer who enjoys solving technical challenges and creating seamless user experiences. This opportunity provides the flexibility of remote work while contributing to international ecommerce projects. ### Accountabilities: - Design, develop, and customize Shopify stores from the ground up according to each client’s business needs. - Configure and optimize Shopify Markets, including multilingual experiences and country-specific pricing strategies. - Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Translate Figma designs into fully functional, responsive, and optimized ecommerce experiences. - Integrate external applications, third-party tools, and subscription systems to extend store capabilities. - Apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) practices and web analytics insights to improve performance and customer experience. - Maintain existing stores, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement continuous improvements. - Stay updated on Shopify trends, ecommerce best practices, and emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions. - Collaborate with design, marketing, and performance teams to execute high-impact ecommerce projects. - Contribute ideas to improve usability, functionality, and overall online shopping experiences. ### Requirements: - 3+ years of professional experience developing Shopify stores and ecommerce solutions. - Advanced technical knowledge of Shopify, including theme development and customization. - Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience integrating third-party applications, external services, and ecommerce tools. - Ability to transform Figma designs into functional, responsive web interfaces. - Solid understanding of web analytics and conversion rate optimization strategies. - Intermediate knowledge of CRO principles and practices. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven mindset with a commitment to quality. - Experience with Shopify Plus is considered an advantage. - Knowledge of technical SEO, web design principles, Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar tools is a plus. ### Benefits: - Fully remote work opportunity from anywhere in Latin America. - Flexible work schedule with full-time engagement. - Opportunity to collaborate with international brands and European-based companies. - Freelance / service provider working arrangement. - Competitive compensation of approximately €1,400 per month. - Opportunity to work on challenging ecommerce projects and expand Shopify expertise. - Collaborative environment focused on innovation, performance, and continuous improvement. **How Jobgether works:** We use an **AI-powered matching process** to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
