We are also only a few hours’ drive away from the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Reno, Nevada; one of the most stunning stretches of the Pacific Coast; and multiple National Parks. **POSITION SUMMARY:** Hill Country Community Clinic is currently seeking a full-time General Dentist (DDS/DMD) to join our integrated, whole person care team. Hill Country is a Federally Qualified Health Center that attracts mission driven individuals who are very passionate about serving the underserved population of Shasta County. The Redding location is a twelve-chair operation that is open Monday through Friday. The Round Mountain location is an eight-chair operation and is open Monday through Thursday. Our dental staff rotate between both locations to optimize care coordination and department calibration so that the patient experience is seamless regardless of the location they prefer to receive care. Must have ability to perform all necessary duties involved in dental hygienist protocol and procedures; as well as those of dental assistant. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned which may become essential to the position. - Performs dental services for residents including oral examinations, prophylaxis, fillings, extractions, anterior root canals, periodontal surgery, root canals, crowns and bridges; takes and interprets radiographs; performs follow-up services. - Diagnoses dental condition, evaluates oral health, plans and provides treatment. - Writes, implements, and provides documentation of individual client's treatment; maintains records to comply with federal requirements and writes reports indicative of progress or regression. - Prepare and/or process documents; review for accuracy and completeness; update information and/or evaluate against policy; compare elements for consistency or logical relationships, etc. - Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc. - Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations. - Conducts conferences with defendants and/or att…
