Coaches also support students with personal statement and essay writing, resume review, and securing strong letters of recommendation. Additional guidance includes preparing for interviews, navigating financial aid & scholarships, understanding licensing requirements, discussing clinical rotations, and developing a waitlist strategy when needed. Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of the dental residency and match process (as a former program director, resident, or industry professional), a track record of helping students put their best applications forward, and a clear, structured approach to guiding students through a stressful and high-stakes process.
