**Preferred Search Group** is partnering with a well-established, high-end private dental and orthodontic practice in San Antonio to recruit an experienced **Clinic Manager**. This thriving, privately owned practice has served the community for over 30 years and offers comprehensive care under one roof, including General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Clear Aligners, Implants, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Periodontics, and Oral Surgery. With multiple providers, 13 operatories, and exciting expansion plans, this is an outstanding opportunity for a proven leader who enjoys driving operational excellence. ### About the Role This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment. You'll oversee daily operations, optimize scheduling and productivity, lead an administrative team, and help guide the practice through its next phase of growth. If you love analyzing KPIs, improving systems, coaching teams, and creating an exceptional patient experience, we'd love to hear from you. ### Responsibilities **Operations & Practice Management** - Oversee daily operations across a busy 13-operatory practice - Maximize provider schedules, patient flow, and operatory utilization - Lead practice expansion initiatives, including additional operating hours - Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement operational improvements - Coordinate provider scheduling to support continued growth **Leadership** - Manage and mentor an experienced administrative team - Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture - Conduct coaching sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings - Recruit, onboard, and train new team members as needed **Business Performance** - Monitor production, collections, scheduling efficiency, case acceptance, recare, and new patient metrics - Utilize practice management reporting and business intelligence tools to drive performance - Partner with the revenue cycle team to improve collections and reduce accounts receivable - Present operational insights and recommendations to ownership **Clinical Coordination** - Work closely with doctors and department leaders to maximize efficiency - Coordinate workflows across hygiene and restorative departments - Support specialty services including orthodontics, implants, oral surgery, and periodontics **Compliance & Technology** - Ensure HIPAA compliance throughout the practice - Oversee practice technology systems and vendor relationships - Maintain efficient administrative and operational processes **Required** - 3-5+ years of dental practice management experience in a multi-provider practice - Strong leadership experience managing both administrative and clinical support teams - Experience optimizing schedules, production, and operational workflows - Strong understanding of dental KPIs and practice analytics - Experience with cloud-based dental software (CareStack preferred; Curve Dental or Archy experience also considered) **Preferred** - Dental consulting or coaching background - Experience leading a growing or expanding practice - Familiarity with orthodontics, clear aligners, implants, and specialty dentistry - Experience overseeing multiple departments simultaneously ### We're Looking For Someone Who Is: - Highly organized and operationally focused - Data-driven and comfortable making decisions from metrics - A visible leader who enjoys coaching and developing people - Calm under pressure in a busy clinical environment - Passionate about helping a great practice continue to grow - Competitive salary based on experience - Performance-based bonus opportunities - 401(k) - Paid Time Off & Holidays - Continuing Education support - Long-term career growth with an established private practice If you're an experienced dental leader looking to make a lasting impact within a successful private practice, we'd love to connect with you.
