## Description **Dental Assisting Instructor** Location: Lehi, UT Status: Part-time Hours: Monday–Friday; 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Pay / Salary: $24.09/Hour **Summary** As a Dental Assisting Instructor, you will prepare students for careers in dental assisting and equip them with the essential skills to succeed in the workforce. Enjoy the rewards of helping a new generation of Dental Assisting students launch successful careers! **Why Work with Us?** - **Positive Work Culture:** Be a part of a friendly, team-oriented environment where your contributions are valued. - **Professional Growth**: Receive an MTECH tuition waiver after three months (minimum hours may apply), opening doors to further your education and skills **What You'll Do:** Responsibilities of the Dental Assisting Instructor include, but are not limited to: - Deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a strong focus on hands-on, skill-based competency training. - Create and/or update lesson plans for both classroom and lab activities. - Manage and supervise students during classroom instruction and practical training. - Assess student progress through written, oral, practical, and performance evaluations. - Foster a student-centered learning environment while maintaining a positive and effective classroom atmosphere. Inspect equipment daily for safety, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs as needed. - Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and accountability. **What We're Looking For:** - A high school diploma or equivalent is required. - Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program with a valid certificate of completion. - At least 5 years of professional experience in dental assisting. - Prior teaching experience is preferred. - DANB National Certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). **Ready to Apply?** We appreciate and celebrate our amazing team and are excited to welcome new talent.
