**Dental Biller** **Greater Seacoast Community Health** **Full-Time | Non-Exempt** **Join a Team That Makes a Difference** Greater Seacoast Community Health is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented **Dental Biller** to join our Dental team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the financial health of our dental practice by managing insurance billing, claims processing, payment posting, and accounts receivable. Your expertise will help maximize reimbursement while supporting our mission of providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to our community. If you have a strong background in dental billing, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in accuracy, we'd love to hear from you. **What You'll Do** As our Dental Biller, you'll be responsible for: - Processing Medicaid and commercial dental insurance claims accurately and efficiently. - Submitting primary and secondary insurance claims in a timely manner. - Posting insurance payments, adjustments, denials, and patient payments. - Researching, appealing, and resolving denied or unpaid claims. - Monitoring insurance accounts receivable and following up on outstanding balances. - Maintaining accurate patient billing records and account information. - Applying and interpreting CDT coding accurately. - Managing patient payment plans and account follow-up. - Preparing patient statements and coordinating collection activity when appropriate. - Assisting with financial reporting, audits, and other billing-related projects. - Collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing issues and improve reimbursement processes. **Qualifications** **Required** - Minimum **3 years of dental billing experience** - Strong knowledge of dental insurance billing and claims processing - Thorough understanding of CDT coding - Experience using dental practice management software - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and problem-solving abilities - Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy **Preferred** - Associate's Degree in Business or a related field - Experience working in a community health center or healthcare setting **What Makes You Successful** You're someone who: - Enjoys solving complex billing and insurance challenges. - Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. - Has exceptional attention to detail. - Communicates professionally with insurance carriers, patients, and coworkers. - Thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. - Works collaboratively to improve workflows and maximize reimbursement. - Is dependable, organized, and committed to excellent customer service. **Why Greater Seacoast Community Health?** At Greater Seacoast Community Health, our mission is to provide integrated, comprehensive, high-quality healthcare while creating a welcoming environment for every patient and employee.
