You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system. ## Job Description: At Regions, the Default Solutions Recovery Specialist supports recovery and default operations by applying operational procedures and regulatory requirements to manage accounts and recover funds in various stages of legal action. This role is responsible for conducting eligibility reviews, coordinating with outside counsel, and ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, and workflow management across the recovery processes. **Primary Responsibilities** - Performs eligibility reviews of charged-off and delinquent accounts to determine candidacy for legal placement, as well as pre‑ and post‑judgment actions - Coordinates with external law firms and internal partners to support account placement, documentation requests, case status updates, and approved settlement activities - Conducts research, analysis, and documentation review to validate account details, ensure accuracy, and maintain complete and compliant records within systems of record - Manages account-level legal workflows, including matter setup, tracking of judgments and settlements, and ongoing monitoring of account status and reporting outputs - Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. **Requirements** - High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of collections, banking, account management or related experience **Skills and Competencies** - Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance - Data entry and typing skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Strong time management skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills **Proximity to Hoover, AL required.** **Position Type** Full time **Compensation Details** Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
