Summary: Deductions Specialist will be responsible for preparing, compiling, researching, and processing deductions submitted by vendors or internal teams. Areas of responsibility: - Prepare and enter all vendor deductions to ensure timely and accurate processing according to identified procedures. - Analyze and organize all supporting documentation to support these deductions. - Communicates with various internal departments to resolve disputes, payments, chargebacks and closing process gaps and documentation requirements. - Import / download transactions from other systems into accounting system. - Performs other job duties as required. Qualifications/Skills: - Associates degree and/or at least three years of experience in a Finance or Accounting based role - Hands-on experience with high volume data entry with a high attention to detail - Has the ability to work with a sense of urgency - A combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform duties - Handles confidential information in a professional manner - An understanding of research and reconciliation functions - Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word - Team-oriented, well organized - Maintain good working relationships with vendors and co-workers - Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing. - Ability to work independently Job Type: Full-time Benefits: - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Referral program - Vision insurance Compensation Package: - Bonus opportunities Experience: - Financial concepts: 3 years (Preferred)
