While most responsibilities are during the day, there are a number of night activities throughout the year that are part of the job requirements. POSITION SUMMARY Actively supervise students at all times and assist with designated student disciplinary tasks at the direction of the Building Principal. Essential Functions Statement(s) • Supervise students (before school, during class changes, during lunch, and after school). •Supervise students at extracurricular activities and school-sponsored events both on and off campus. • Enforce discipline and attendance rules and assist administrators with discipline, as needed. •Dispense student discipline for tardies, truancy and other infractions as designated by the Building Principal. •Follow up with students who miss detention, in-school suspension, and/or Saturday School. •Provide frequent and consistent contact with parents about discipline and initiate positive feedback with and about students. • Promote and protect the welfare and safety of students and staff. • Supervise emergency drills and submit documentation, as appropriate. • Assist with monitoring security protocols and procedures of facilities on campus. • Report to the proper authorities any cases of suspected child endangerment, neglect, or abuse. • Report, investigate, and address suspected bullying as required by Arkansas law and district policies. • Adhere to all policies of the District. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
