DDI Operator

**Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus! Eligible employees can receive an additional $1 per hour, for every hour worked, in addition to their hourly wages for working their scheduled shift.** **Responsibilities:** - Operates cylinder extrusion presses, which includes loading metal plates into the machine and unloading cylinders produced by the machine - Dimensional and visual inspection of cylinders produced - Tracks hourly production, makes calculations, and legibly records results - May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervision **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. - Must be able to stand for extended periods, and able to walk, reach up and reach down. - Able to lift 35 lbs., and able to swing a dead blow hammer to tighten machine screws - Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment - Wear all required PPE associated with the material. - Ability to speak effectively to co-workers. *Buckeye Fire Equipment provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.* *This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.*
