The role will require you to manage, configure, and maintain DB2 databases running on mainframe platforms. **Complete Description:** **Program Description:** The client operates the Motor Vehicle Information System (DESTINY), a mission-critical platform that supports driver licensing, vehicle registration and titling, inspections, insurance compliance, medical and parking permit management, and other core DMV functions. To ensure continued reliability and modernization of DESTINY, the application requires ongoing enhancements, fixes, and functional expansions. This includes support for software applications, database management, and web-based components. The Client, in partnership with the DMV Application Services team, is seeking an IBM DB2 Database Administrator responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the DB2 database environment that supports the DESTINY application. This role will ensure high availability, performance, data integrity, and seamless operation of the DMV’s mission‑critical systems. **Role Description:** The role will require you to manage, configure, and maintain DB2 databases running on mainframe platforms. Perform database installation, upgrades, patches, migrations, and version management. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and tune DB2 components to ensure high availability.
