Data Scientist, Mid

Job Name: Data Scientist Level: Mid Location: Springfield, VA (NCE) Remote Work: No Required Clearance: TS/SCI Position Type: Immediately Available Shift: Shift 1 Office Supported: SPF REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Requires TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI/Poly. 9+ years of relevant experience in data science, automation, software development, data engineering, database integration, GEOINT support, or related technical disciplines. OR 5 years experience and a Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years experience and a Master's Degree Proficiency in Python and its data science and visualization ecosystem, including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Bokeh, and related libraries. Demonstrated experience connecting multiple databases and enterprise systems to automate data collection, transformation, and dissemination. Experience automating repetitive business or analytic tasks using scripts and workflows. Experience gathering and disseminating metrics and operational data. Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement automation solutions that improve workflow performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Base salaries at CAS are determined by various factors, including work location, an individual’s education, knowledge, skills, experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of CAS's total compensation package.
