You’ll develop and deploy the pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. The world can’t wait. **You Have:** - 2+ years of experience within data engineering, software engineering, data science, or data analytics - 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis - Experience utilizing programming languages, including Python - Experience with developing scalable ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics - Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment - Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms - Secret clearance - Bachelor’s degree **Nice If You Have:** - Experience deploying analytics workloads on a platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS), including AWS EMR, Redshift, SageMaker, Databricks, SQL Data Warehouse, or machine learning service - Experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data - Experience with distributed or parallel programming frameworks, including Apache Spark or NVIDIA CUDA - Experience with DoD information systems and infrastructure as code frameworks and services, including Terraform or CloudFormation - Experience developing and presenting complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences and senior leaders - Experience developing and deploying large-scale batch and stream analytics pipelines - Experience working with integrated groups comprised of customer success managers, infrastructure engineers, data scientists, and software engineers - Master’s degree in a CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics field - Cloud Development Certification such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Certification - Information Security Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification **Clearance:** Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. **Compensation** At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
