About the Position Dexis is seeking a Data Collector VI (Leader) to support a large-scale Army test and evaluation program. The project provides data collection, technical writing, computer operations, range scheduling, and administrative support services necessary to execute the government’s test mission. Support encompasses testing of a wide variety of automotive, combat, electronic, general equipment, and ordnance materiel, with services including data collection and coordination, data compilation and processing, development and management of data collection forms, test monitoring, technical writing and editorial review, reporting, data and software administration, range scheduling, and related operational support. The Data Collector VI (Leader) will serve as the working leader for data collection personnel, managing daily resource scheduling, workforce training, technical oversight, and data quality. The role provides hands-on guidance to data collection personnel and supports planning and execution of test activities both in Aberdeen and at remote test locations. Work will be performed primarily onsite in Aberdeen, Maryland, with travel to other locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) as required by mission needs. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Prepare and manage the daily schedule of data collection resources. Train personnel on data collection procedures and policies for work performed in Aberdeen and at other test locations. Provide guidance and oversight in the development of structured data collection training for new personnel. Provide leadership, technical advice, and assistance to lower-level data collection personnel. Monitor work in progress and instruct personnel on specific tasks, job techniques, written instructions, reference materials, and procedures. Identify problems in data collection techniques and recommend solutions. Ensure test data meet project requirements and government standards for quality assurance, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Perform weekly 100% quality assurance reviews of data from assigned projects, with projects reviewed on a rotational basis. Return unacceptable work and counsel personnel regarding deficiencies. Serve as a liaison between data collection personnel and Data Quality/government personnel when technical or personnel issues arise. Provide input to the Program Manager regarding employee performance. Use and provide assistance with applicable hardware and software, including ODIN, Microsoft Office, web-enabled data management systems, and, as required, Cognos reporting tools. Provide advice and assistance during test project planning meetings regarding data collection support requirements. Perform job functions at sites other than Aberdeen as required. Qualifications Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in each individual discipline of math and science and a GPA of 3.0 or higher in high school English or a GPA of 2.5 or higher in college English from an accredited high school or university. The minimum high school diploma requirement will not be waived for an equivalency degree. Must meet one of the following education and experience combinations: (1) Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technology discipline and three (3) years of experience performing RAM/ILS or similar data collection involving military or nonmilitary equipment and associated maintenance concepts; (2) Associate's degree in a technical area and five (5) years of experience performing data…
