What You'll Do Our Data Centre Operations team is at the physical core of our business, responsible for building, maintaining, and operating the cutting-edge infrastructure that powers the cloud. This team ensures the stability, security, and scalability of our physical assets, working hands-on in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment to deliver a best-in-class experience for our clients. About the role As the Data Centre Manager, you will be the on-site leader responsible for the operational excellence, reliability, and security of our facility. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide and mentor a team of technicians through hardware diagnostics, physical repairs, and new equipment installations while implementing operational best practices to maximise uptime. You will serve as the primary point of contact for on-site operations, coordinating cross-functionally to respond to technical emergencies, execute root cause analysis, and maintain critical infrastructure. Your leadership will directly influence the scalability, performance, and operational maturity of the site. Who You Are 5+ years of hands-on experience in data centre operations, including at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or supervisory role. In-depth technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including server hardware, networking equipment, and cooling systems. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with proficiency in the Linux operating system. Direct experience utilizing data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and software. Physical ability to lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs) and work in elevated locations. Availability to support a 24/7 operational environment, including participating in on-call rotations and after-hours emergency response. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Familiarity with network operating systems like Cisco IOS or Juniper JunOS. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, CDCP, or equivalent. Wondering if you're a good fit?
