Cycle Counter

**Job Summary** The Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system. **Principle Duties and Responsibilities** - Counts and tracks physical inventory - Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts - Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management - Records inventory counts in the accounting system - Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections - Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls - Prepares various reports and correspondence as required - Performs other duties as required **Qualifications** - High school diploma - Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area - Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures - Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook - Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species - Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures - Must be at least 18 years of age ### *The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
