Customs Entry Writer

FDA). - Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry. - Cargowise experience is a plus. **About the Position** Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): - Prepares customs entries for all import shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner. - Ensures that all entry packets are properly annotated by using tools such as company profiles, CROSS (Customs Rulings Online Search System), Internet and communicating with the Importer of record. - Creates invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the Billing Department. - Develops and maintains customer profiles based on customer’s entry history. - Coordinates with customers to gather information for entry processing. - Answers any Brokerage related inquiries internally and externally. **Work Schedule** Miami Office 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST **Computer Skills** To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Office. **Education & Experience** - Associate's degree preferred. - 1-3 years of entry writing experience. - Customs Brokerage License and/or CCS Certification preferred. **Salary** $50,000-$60,000 annually based on education and experience level. **Perks & Benefits of OEC Group:** After successfully completing and passing a standard 90-day introductory period the employee is provided with the following benefits package.
