## Overview We are looking for someone with extensive professional customer service experience that provides above average skills. Previous customer service experience in manufacturing or distribution setting strongly preferred. ## Description - Provide superior customer service in everyday activities with internal and external customers via phone, fax, and email. - Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. - Opens customer accounts by recording account information. - Maintains customer records by updating account information. - Creates customer orders, requests for quotes (RFQs), and requests for information (RFIs). - Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. - Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments. Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs. Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. ## Requirements - Some college preferred or High School Diploma required - Minimum of 3- 5 years in a customer service office environment in a manufacturing/distribution setting - Must be advanced in Excel and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) - Strong ability to multi-task - Must be detailed oriented - Strong math skills - Proficient keyboard and data entry skills - Ability to work well with a multitude of departments. - Work effectively in a fast paced environment
