Customer Care Representative

The Metropolitan Opera is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Part-Time Customer Care Representatives for the Inbound Call Center. This is an opportunity to work for the largest classical music organization in the US and contribute to the daily operations of a cultural landmark. In this role, you will be part of a diverse team of colleagues helping to create meaningful experiences for opera lovers with every interaction. Customer Care Representatives are responsible for responding to inbound customer inquiries by providing exceptional customer service. This includes inquiries about performances and services, processing ticket orders, Membership sales, and performing general account maintenance. In some situations, upselling customers to additional performances, advanced membership levels, and/or new products or services are encouraged and rewarded. Department Hours of Operation will vary based upon seasonal performances. This may include Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM EST as well as Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM EST. This is a Part-Time, hybrid working opportunity, with up to 40 hours/week available depending on operating schedule.
