We actively show appreciation for our people and seek collaborative, long-term partnerships with employees who want to build a meaningful career while contributing to products used in workspaces around the world. **Below is an overview of the benefits and rewards a career with OMT-Veyhl offers including:** • Generous Paid Time Off, including 9 paid holidays each calendar year. • Bonus program based on company performance • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance benefits eligibility Day 1. • Company-provided Short-Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance. • 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match • Tuition Assistance Program ## Description **POSITION SUMMARY:** Responsible for assembling BUILT products while ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery to customers. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** • Assemble BUILT products including assembly tables, machine bases, marker boards, carts, and future product lines. • Build and assemble machinery and mechanical components according to specifications and blueprints. • Position, align, and fit parts to form complete units using jigs, hand tools, and machine tools. • Operate assembly equipment and tools including drills, drivers, drill presses, and electric lifting devices/cranes. • Perform milling, grinding, deburring, and finishing operations as needed. • Read and interpret blueprints, 3D drawings, diagrams, and written work instructions. • Pick up and deliver materials and products from internal departments and occasionally external suppliers. • Assist with building and preparing products for trade shows. • Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment inventory. • Complete projects from start to finish while meeting quality and productivity deadlines. • Support other manufacturing departments and production activities as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Technical school degree or certificate with mechanical emphasis preferred • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in advanced assembly processes, including a variety of assembly methods, preferred. **QUALIFICATIONS:** • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience operating machining and assembly equipment, including milling, grinding, deburring, finishing, drills, drivers, and other hand tools. • Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, 3D drawings, technical documents, and verbal instructions. • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to manage projects and tasks from start to finish. • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively in a team environment. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan workloads, prioritize tasks, and respond promptly to production needs. • Quality-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with management, customers, and team members. • Proficiency in basic mathematics, including fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and measurements used in manufacturing environments. • Ability to safely handle, move, position, and install materials using appropriate tools, equipment, and lifting devices. • Valid Michigan Driver’s License required, along with responsibility for maintaining assigned tools and equipment inventory. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** • While…
